Our hikes are open to the public at no cost. You can hike with us for free any time. However, if you want to be on our email list and become a bona fide member, membership dues are only $10 per year per household, payable each January.
Some members of the club act as coordinators of the hikes which are held every other Saturday. It is not required that you lead hikes if you are a member. We have plenty of members who do not lead hikes.
Club meetings are held every three months. The next meeting date and location can be found on our hike schedule page These meetings consist of a potluck dinner, discussion of club business, and hike planning with destinations for the next three-month period determined. Hike destinations are subject to change at the hike coordinator’s discretion due to weather and road conditions, etc. Meeting minutes and hike schedules are distributed to club membership via email whenever possible.
Hike coordinators may submit a hike report and pictures to be posted on this website. Please keep pictures to no more than 12 and realize that the webmaster may edit your hike report prior to posting. Submit information to umpquahikes@gmail.com.
